We are getting an amazing pushchair, thanks to the help of Jonny’s parents. The company calls it a wee sexy beast! It will take baby with us everywhere we like to go — off road, on the snow, through the fields, on the beach, and on the bus, too. There are a few accessories that we’d love to have to go with the Mountain Buggy.
The travel bag, the storm cover, the sun cover, and the MaxiCosi travel system adapters so we can clip the infant car seat we got to the buggy, and the sleeping bag to keep baby’s toes toasty in the winter!
The link is through to the Mountain Buggy site where prices aren’t competitive… these things can all be found for a better bargain. Please note: we’re getting the 2010 model so will need 2010-compatible accessories. x

Sheepskin. So snuggly. And so nice for baby - warm in winter and cool in summer. Who wouldn’t want to be pushed around in a chair lined with one of these?
So many cute things, we had to create a wishlist here, too. Click and log in with the following details:

We’re welcoming a new baby into the world, not a brand advocate. As cute as miniature versions of big people clothes can be, we’re hoping that our family and friends know us well enough not to send mini-sized GAP hoodies or anything else that plastered with brand names and logos. We know that unless we move to a remote village in the middle of Amazonia, we won’t be able to keep baby free from advertising and marketing forever. But we’d like to avoid carrying around a baby-shaped billboard for as long as humanly possible.
If we wouldn’t wear it, baby won’t wear it either. That leaves things pretty wide open! We’re just mentioning it here so you don’t feel sad that we never send you pictures of that adorable NIKE jumper you gave us.

I’m a forever fan of Dr Seuss. The fact that some of his lost stories have been found and are to be published in September couldn’t make me happier! I so look forward to reading these and the rest of Dr Seuss’s delightful collection to the little love bundle.
The Bippolo Seed and Other Lost Stories is already available for pre-order.
We’re of the opinion that there are plenty of wonderful noisy toys that don’t require batteries. Toys that rattle, crackle and squeak; musical instruments; toys to bang and smack on other toys. We also think big hunks of bright molded plastic that sing and talk to your baby are really creepy, and don’t leave much to the imagination.
Toys that light up are ok, as long as they’re not accompanied by beeps and sirens and middle-aged women singing farm noises in their best baby voices.
We want to have more kids someday, and so preservation of parental patience is a top priority :)

Everytime I see this little shoes, I melt. They are SO cute! They have little shoes with animals, patterns, flowers and shapes, and also retro styles, trendy styles, sandals and even little sheepskin boots! I could seriously spend a months wages on these there are so many I love. But babies don’t really need that many pair of shoes! Here’s just a sample of some that we like… with LOTS more to look at on their website.

We came across some really adorable and sustainable bamboo baby stuff in our local health food store today. Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on the planet, harvestable in just 3 years (instead of 30 to 60 like most wood used for products) and naturally replenishes itself after harvesting. Plus, it’s super versatile and can be used to make clothes, toys, and other useful stuff.
EcoBoo has lots of fun things. We particularly liked…
